- your wolf lords have incredible options
-sagas
-wolf scouts
-arjack is not an ic
-bolter, bolt pistol, close combat weapon on hunters
-runic armor
-frost blades
-lukas' bomb
-wolf priest causes tons of re-rolls
-termis are cheaper with more options
-four Eternal warriors
-long fangs
-counter charge
-crazy good heroes and you can take lots with FO
- Rune Priest!!!! (nuff said)

basically orks in power armor

but, to off set this:

-expensive!
-can't deepstrike by teleport (not that big a deal though)
-no sterngaurd
-no combat squads
-....um thats all

the only real reason i would say is that they have no real weakness, while everyone else's pros are given weakness. that said, to play the wolves effectively and in character does take effort, skill, and thought. other wise you get a cheesy 60 blood claw army and you run at the enemy....

if i tried that i'd get effed up so fast... Unless!!

thats what i mean- you could just throw unimaginative cheese at people, or spam shiz- but you'd get pa-owned!! thats why you jave success.
the thing with wolves is the same with angels: you gotta know your limits! for instance, you dont take all the stuff i listed as pros all in one battle! that would hecka expensive!

you have success because you take a few good things, and mix them into regular stuff, and work a battle plan around it. another example, hunters: you take lots of them and although they have good advantages, thier not OP imo. you just know what to do.

are wolves stacked? yes. but you still dont make crazy, stupid op lists that i've seen. cause it'd be dumb, unimaginative, EXPENSIVE.

i see more OP lists with Orks than i ever have with Space Wolves.

Is there something you can buy to give yourself eternal warrior in the codex or something? If not there is only ONE char with eternal warrior in the codex, which is Logan Grimnar.

I haven't seen anything in any codex to allow you to purchase Eternal Warrior. We've been throwing it around a lot in the store so you can take a character in one of these Chaos Colloseum type things and not have them one-shotted by anything.

Logan Grimnar, Lone Wolves and Arjac all have Eternal Warrior. My HQs can buy Saga of the Bear for 35 points. Gives them Eternal Warrior. But because its a Saga, I can get only one per army.
