I wanted to write down a few rules I learned from when I first started playing and see any of you guy;s that you have noticed.

Scott's first law of single dice: any important roll left to just one D6 WILL fail every time.

Why Zac plays psykers: Any and all psychic tests made by Zac will not suffer perils HOWEVER if it does, the model will not suffer a wound.

Kyle's theory of armour saves: Kyle will statistically make 5 out of 6, 5+ saves, but fail 9 out of 10 terminator saves.

The Fatty theory: Fatty makes every save. Ever.

Anything you guys wanna add?

when you roll to hit its always 5s and 6s when you roll to wound its 1s and 2s

all very true- especially for me, the single dice screw over (i immobilize even with a dozer blade) and the hit all but no wounds. and yes, fatty will always roll what he needs.

Orks don't make a good shooting army, unless your name is Alex and you're a closet Sisters of Battle fan. Then you can roll 5's and 6's to hit as often as a marine player rolls 3+'s.

Also, Orks learned that red unz go fastah after fighting against Blood Angels.

Hahaha this was so true our last game! 4 1's in a single turn! then you rolled a 2 for a 3+ inv save.

I entered the universe of warhammer with my first game rolling 6 1's in a row and marshall saying "wow, maybe you shouldn't get into warhammer..." with a complete understanding of the physics of a 6 sided cube. Every roll has an exact same chance. No matter what you do, with a fair, even weighted die, if you actually roll it, it HAS THE EXACT SAME CHANCE EVERY SIDE. This is what 11 years of schooling has taught me. I initially tried to stick to these principals, keeping optimistic about crappy rolling or that meltabomb REALLY just taking out the land raider. I noticed people like joe have a tendency to make to many saves. I watched as I saw people actually having good luck at some things, and bad at others consistently. I continued to try to ignore this, thinking rationally, going into insane statistics considering the chances that this person actually HAS done this consistently evey game even though it shouldn't happen. I recently even went into thinking that the only reason we remember the crappy rolls is because they stick out in our memory. I have finally accepted and learned this one simple truth. Nelsen's law: Throw math out the window, statistics mean nothing. Nothing is impossible, and everything that SHOULD happen for you, won't. I guess I figure that's what real skill in warhammer gaming. 1/2 is knowing your opponent and planning appropriotly, and 1/2 be able to think on your feet and change tactics quickly to make up for unplanned losses/gains, and 1/2 other stuff Razz of course sometimes the dice just completely decide the game...
The point of ALL THIS being....."EFFING SERIOUSLY??? REALLY FATTY??? No, NO! I'm sick of it!!! Roll it again! I DON'T CARE IF YOU ALREADY ROLLED IT DO IT AGAIN! WTF YOU MADE MORE OF THEM THIS TIME?!?!?!? RAAAUUGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" *flips table* "there, I win!"

I'm a mean person to play when I'm tired. Up to and including counting rolls off the table and not actually checking if I've hit.

That and I need to remember I can actually save when I have cover.

Finally today's DE lesson, Agonizers are your army in CC, and Dark Lances hate everyone.

also, no worries: we all get tired, dont feel bad- we don't think your a cheater. also, you did really well today- once you get more units, you'll do awesome!
